About Jaime Knowles

Jaime Knowles has been professionally training and handling dogs since 1998, working with breeds of all temperaments. With her extensive experience and a deep passion for canine behaviour, Jaime has become a trusted authority in dog training and behaviour modification helping 1000’s of dogs all across North America. Jaime continuously updates her education to stay at the forefront of animal behaviour science, ensuring that you and your dog receive the most effective and compassionate care.

Coaching Session Options:

•  60-Minute Session ($100): Perfect for addressing specific behaviour issues, initial assessments and getting started on effective training techniques.
•  90-Minute Session ($150): Ideal for a more in-depth approach, allowing ample time to cover behaviour issues and develop a comprehensive training plan.

Specialty Training for Reactivity and Anxiety:

•  60-Minute Session ($175)
•  90-Minute Session ($225)

Reactivity and Anxiety Training Packages:

• All reactivity packages begin with a 90-minute session.
• Reactivity and Anxiety Foundations Package: 1 x 90-minute session + 2 x 60-minute follow-up sessions - $550
• Reactivity and Anxiety Essentials Package: 1 x 90-minute session + 4 x 60-minute follow-up sessions - $875

Scent Work Classes

Excited to tap into your dog’s natural abilities? Our Scent Work Classes are coming soon! With a maximum of 5 dogs per class, your dog will receive focused, hands-on training.

• Intro to Scent Work (7 weeks): $275

Board and Train Program

Our three-week immersive Board and Train program is perfect for dogs with specific needs such as hyper-arousal, impulse control issues or leash reactivity. Jaime works with only one dog at a time to ensure individualized attention and care.

Board and Trains are completed at Jaime's home in Nanaimo on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC.  Pickup and drop-off is available at no additional cost for Mainland Dogs for three-week programs.

Cost:

• 3-Week Program: $2,800 plus tax
• Additional Week: $900 per week

What’s Included:

• Three daily training sessions, five days a week
• Two decompression walks, seven days a week
• Daily enrichment activities
• A loving home environment
• Daily photo or video updates
• 90-minute handover session
• Handover package with detailed handouts and a personalized training guide

Pickup and drop-off is available for Mainland Dogs.

Note: All first stays must be a three-week program. After completion, shorter Board and Train options may be available based on availability.
